LAG-2800
Industrial tear-out machine designed around the latest technology and built on the idea of safety comes first.
Leading the industry in innovation, design, reliability and power.
Introducing LAG Equipment’s LAG-2800 refractory tear-out machine. Taking decades of experience and knowledge, LAG Equipment has developed a machine that looks at safety first. From the ground up, innovation and design are the foremost thoughts while keeping safety in mind. Using the latest technology, the machine was designed to work effortlessly tearing out refractory or cleaning out a vessel while allowing the operator to keep a safe distance.
From the undercarriage to the boom, the LAG-2800 is built entirely from heavy gauge steel plate allowing the machine to utilize high-impact hydraulic hammers and various attachments. The pivoting roller boom design gives the LAG-2800 the ability to reach areas effortlessly that typical excavator booms cannot touch. Utilizing safety perimeter lighting and controlled by a radio control pendant only, the operator is kept at a safe distance.
Many of the key design and innovations the LAG-2800
A personnel detection system, utilizing six shielded cameras, or a tag proximity detection system, utilizing a operator equipped tag, warns the operator that they are within a dangerous operating zone. Functions slow and stop to keep the operator safe.
Reduced structural fatigue through FEA analysis. Center of mass over undercarriage. Lifting balance centered to machine. Optimized diesel engine (limited regen). Proprietary designed slew drive. Shielded deck components.
No-spill fill. Bottom fill eliminates fall protection. Certified pressure tested.
