From the ground up, innovation and design are the foremost considerations while keeping safety in mind. Using the latest technology, the machine was designed to work effortlessly to clear slag and scrap around an EAF slag door.

The LAG-1200 is designed to fit in front of the furnace and is customized to accommodate different heights and distances from the furnace door. From the base and trunnion to the roller boom assemblies, the LAG-1200 is built entirely from heavy gauge steel plate allowing the machine to handle the stresses of pushing out the slag from the furnace door. The roller boom design gives the LAG-1200 minimum maintenance concerns while providing smooth operation. Extensive shielding throughout the machine helps keep out debris from damaging critical components. Remotely operated via radio control pendant or control console (customer requested location), the operator maintains a safe distance while operating.
