Louis A. Grant, Jr. formed LAG Equipment to design and engineer, manufacture, market and distribute innovative, safe and cost-effective, remote-controlled refractory, demolition machines to displace current market players.

Our team has a combined 100+ years of institutional and industry knowledge focusing on operator safety, efficient machine design and exceptional customer service.  With this team, LAG Equipment will become the undisputed industry leader in both scope and scale by providing fully maintained and operated equipment rentals, as well as new equipment sales to all refractory consuming industries.

LAG Equipment operates both domestically and internationally focusing on the following segments:

Patrick Trusnovic, VP of Manufacturing

Mr. Trusnovic is a career operations specialist who will establish manufacturing operations in the U.S. and globally. A seasoned manager of not only process but of people, Pat has overseen union and salaries employees to ensure effective workflow and organization for manufacturing, delivery and installation of equipment. Pat will establish base line costs and constantly analyze the current needs to decide if the company will make or buy a component. His keen eye for efficiency both in workflow and process allows Pat to work cross-functionally to ensure that the Product Department was always supporting company goals and requirements. Pat is well versed in negotiating contracts and managing relationships with suppliers. At LAG Equipment, Pat is a lynchpin in ensuring that our process and flow is streamlined and that we are hitting our key milestone of success both from a fabrication, manufacturing and customer service standpoint. Pat and the Engineering Department will work in tandem to ensure that all LAG Equipment current and future products are “manufacturing friendly” and operate at optimal efficiency.
